This is gorgeous! Love the echo quilting
LOVE and ditto the quilting is awesome!
Thanks for all your pictures! It was like a pictorial tutorial (haha). But I loved being able to see the construction process. True if I'm not mistaken this looks like a good example of reverse applique. And the quilting on this is gorgeous! But to be honest this must be for some very large doll. Either that or the tree is a sapling?
thanks Terry - yes well I did do a sort of tutorial on it - well not with measurements or anything, just a "how I did it - figure out the rest yourself" kind of thing. That's why I took so many pictures.
Hehe .. I guess it's 24" on mabye 16 or 18 (I'm not good at guessing inches). but I'm sure about the 24" as that's the maximum allowed size for the swap.
I love the idea for this quilt and the colors, but the echo quilting makes this quilt extra special. Great job!!
aww now I really wish I kept it and not given it away ... and thanks for the nice words about the quitling - I did it because I can only do straight lines or echo quilting - and straight lines just didn't feel right.
Simple, colourful and sooo effective and the photos are like a mini tutorial. Thanks. Karen
Thankyou! .. aye going outside in the park to take the pictures shows off the colours really well ... I actually did write a sort of tutorial for it - during a blog hop. I remembered to link that in the tutorial part ...
Wow, this is really stunning...love how you quilted this one echoing the shape of the leaf...it really makes the quilt "pop". Beautiful!
Nice. I love the quilting.
