Description

First quilt ever.  Tori chose fabric line.  She thinks I gave up on it, but it's finished for her birthday or Christmas. I washed and dried it, just need to label it. I'm so excited that I can take "Make a Quilt" off of my bucket list.
I learned alot while making this, considering I knew next to nothing when I started.  I pretty much taught myself how to sew a straight line, how important keeping a 1/4" seam allowance is, and I realized how much I have to learn regarding quilting!
I had Melissa at Sew Shabby Quilting in Utah do the quilting for me.  We used meandering feather or meandering feather and paisley- I don't remember for sure.  She also did the binding for me.  I love it.  She and her team did a really great job.  Someday, I hope to be able to at least do the binding for myself, but I'm taking baby steps into this new adventure.
Enlarged the original pattern to 52"x72"

Congratulations on finishing your first quilt! Here's to many more. I taught myself to sew through quilting and am so glad I did!
