Mini Flower Baskets. Shown in Parker Town show, July 2008. Squares
are one-inch. quilting is all-over scribble, with little daisies here and there. The thin darker purple next to the border is a flap.
I made a full-size matching quilt with 2-inch squares,
but it isn't quilted yet. I should get working on that.
The pattern is by that woman who did the Poinsettia quilts for Hoffman, need to look up her name. She sent me a free quilt pattern. I switched some of the fabrics around; picked out my own background material. The center square has green-white (no pink) lily-of-the-valley print. The quilting is with a variegated thread in pinks and greens. The setting squares are light sage fossil fern.
Lovely...I really like the colors and the way you used the prints for the baskets themselves. But using the greens and the "flower" colors that have so much movement in them adds a whole other dimension to your quilt. Very nicely done! Oh, wait, I just read your description...OMG...one-inch squares?!?!? Wow, VERY nicely done!
Beautiful baskets! Your colors are just perfect.
