Description

This was a class that is sort of like crazy quilting except you do some piecing, then slash it and sew it back together again. I'll add more details when I find my notes from the class. I took the class in 1998 so the name of this is in honor of the Denver Broncos (whose colors are blue and orange) who finally won the Super Bowl in 1998 (they'd go on to repeat in 1999). They'd been three times before and lost. Interestingly, I just happened upon the color scheme, the quilt has four blocks (four Super Bowls) and one of them clearly had the #7 in it (bright blue in top right square) and our quarterback, who had been in all four of those Super Bowls (John Elway), was #7. Coincidence or divine guidance????
