Description

I made the final push to get all the appliqued cherries on.  I got a good deal on eBay for the 1-1/2 covered buttons.  Thing is, I have no idea where this quilt is going.  It's not a snuggle-on-the-couch kind of quilt, definitely needs to be hung on a wall.  I started this in 2008!  Sheesh, take long?

Lovely! I like how the quilting circle makes that square look round. Very pretty cherries.

I remember seeing this when the magazine came out and loved it then- it's nice to see it made up- and so beautifully!- you're right- though it's home is on the wall- but what a dramatic statement it will make- just great!

Mymble Thank you so much! Yes, my magazine is in rough shape now :) I wish I could have brought something new/different to the pattern - but I just loved it so much as it was in the magazine!

Cute idea using buttons, but you're right, it would have to be a wall hanging. I have seen this pattern around Pinterest and have always loved it. I have a friend who is Mary Englebright fan and this would be so cute for her.

I LOVE It!! You did an amazing job on this quilt. I also like the other one hanging next to it in one of the pictures...and of course your little helper jumping in for a photo op.
