Description

got a jelly roll, Fox Trails by Riley Blake, and found an image on pinterest I thought would be fun. Turned it into my own rendition and loved the many options I came up with...

so far 2 blocks done...

*11/7/2012* 4 total blocks done. 11 more to go. Only 3x5 block quilt, it wont be very big.

*11/16/2012* 3 rows ccomplete. I am wondering how well it will turn out with 5 rows and debating making it a 4 rows by 4 columns... I guess I will see... a jelly roll only goes so far! :)

*4/30/2013* Finally gotten back into it thanks to the TMQG and the sew-in last month! Now I just need to get it together and decide, border or no border? What to use for backing?

Great design, what a wonderful variation on flying geese

True

This is an awesome design cannot wait to see it finished!

Janquilter

Wonderful design. I love working with graph paper...so many possibilities. Of course the Design Tool will be fun too!

True Posyp Thank you! At first I was thinking HST, but that would loose a lot of the strip to seams, so I think this works pretty well! :) I hope it looks as great finished as I think it looks on paper. :)

Janquilter I think graph paper makes the idea a little easier to understand, excited about the Design Tool! Paint is a little difficult to try to do mock-ups with. smile

Posyp

I work with Paint too (xp) it does get tiresome sometimes, pencils & paper is definitely easier on occasion.

Posyp Pencils and paper is definitely my default for working out ideas. but it makes sharing those over social media a little difficult. and sometimes my scanner just isn't workinging. :( But it is the main visual and all that matters, right? :)
