Description

I'm mid progress in this bag so far, all the stuff is cut out, but none of the hard stuff (sewing things together, making cording) has started yet, luckily I don't have to do that until I make it to Joann's this week.  I'm combining the Long Weekend sew along with a Tula Pink sew along, and not so sure about my fabric choices but oh well :cold_sweat:

Update: I am all done, very happy to be done that's for sure!  It was a challenging project to tackle for somebody who hasn't made a bag before, but the pain is already fading.  I made a blog post about it here, so don't feel the need to go on and on about it again.  I think that with all the cutting and sewing it might have been about 14 hours of work, but I may be off by a couple hours, since I did the initial cutting and patchwork in bits here and there.

I really do like how this turned out. It's fun, and you'll always know which bag is yours.

You did a lovely job! I also made this bag - use it regularly as my carry on for travel and get comments on it all the time.
