Great fabric choices cannot wait to see them become a quilt!
Wow! That's a lot of beautiful fabric! I'm following along as a cheerleader on this one .
Is that a color wheel I see peeking out of the edge? Were you doing some color theory while choosing your fabrics? Very cool. I love your color combos and can't wait to see this made up. I really do think I'm going to have to revisit my scrap stash and find more variety. I think the more variety you have, the more interesting it is!
Looks like complimentary colors - will be exciting to see this one come together.
Sandyquiltz After checking your your Tuesday blog entries on color, I decided to dig out my color wheel to pick the fabrics for this mystery quilt. Since I have no bias as to what the final project will look like, the more interesting the color choices, the more interesting the finished object - I hope!
I'm thinking of adding some darker white/black prints, but my selection in house is limited and I was hoping to use up a small bit of my collection on this one.
Kathie Thanks, I'll probably need some as it gets more involved. It's really just a bit of fun in the cold winter months as I look at it.
WOW!! You're done already with clue #1? I am majorly impressed!!!! I love the colors and patterns you've picked out, too.
What a gorgeous quilt this became!
Wow this is really pretty - love all those golds!
I'm with Wendy - those golds are so pretty and not a color you see often which makes it special. Lovely quilt
Yours turned out amazing! Wasn't it fun? Thanks for sharing.
twistedandloose Yes - it was really fun to make and I thoroughly enjoyed the outcome. It was not my normal palette - hence the large amount of scraps and fat quarters in my stash to work from.
