Camo and Cotton Belt by Bijouxbyjannice
This project was a Christmas gift for my sister, and I created the design just for her. I started by serging the edges of the long strip of camouflage fabric that runs down the center of the belt, then pressed a 1/2" seam allowance on each long edge. I then "basted" the long strip of fabric to the cotton belting by using fusible Stitch Whitchery. I then attached the leather ends using a leather needle and upholstery thread and finished it with antique brass snaps and rivets. I love how it turned out and I can't wait to make one for myself in a different fabric!
