Description

This little mini quilt was made as part of a challenge with a group of quilters. The challenge was to make a 12" mini inspired by the theme Queen Anne's Lace. The flower has many, many white flowers with bright green stems.

I found this challenge surprisingly hard and you can read about it on my blog here.

Garden was made with bits of appliqued green solids and Kona white. The back is Essex Linen in olive and a piece of Kona white. The very dense quilting was done on my home machine and the mini has been washed to add texture.

I am blown away by your interpretation if this challenge...I would have been clueless! And the quilting alone knocks my socks off... Wonderful!

True Thank you, I really did find this challenge hard. I ended up liking the back of this little quilt as much or even more than the front.

Great quilting! Truly a lovely little quilt. It seems you didn't intend it this way, but I really like how it feels kinda Christmassy.

Your mini-quilt is amazing! A simplistic design, yet so complicated at the same time! Loved visiting your blog.
