Oh this is so cute! I love the "fluffy" wings!
Rebecca Thanks! All I did was make a little wing, pin the paper onto a square of fabric and made a quilt sandwich (I used wool batting), then stitched around the outline over the paper....then peeled the paper off and trimmed with pinking shears. Easy peasy!
This is too cute! Thanks for the tutorial- I always do a little theme tree for the sunroom and I can see a whole flock of these nesting for Christmas- really wonderful!
Mymble Thanks! And the best part - they are SO easy to make...I am thinking of making a few more myself :)
So cute... love the way the stuffing shows to make the wings look extra fluffy.
OMG so cute...may have been easy but those wings make that birdie oh so cute!
True Thank you! When I finished the bird body, I just felt like he needed something extra :)
Really cute! the fabric is perfect. (I tried to sign-up for this group, but was a wee late). Have fun and your swap partner is gonna love this!
OMGosh, love him! Gee, you were quick on this swap, I haven't even picked out what I am going to do at this point. So cute
Quilt455 thank you, dear! Once I decided what I wanted to do, I just couldn't wait - can you say OCD?!?!?
that is how I was with our other swap. I have been thinking about what I want to do and I think I have it down to about 20 of them. hehehe okay maybe five but I will decide in the next day or so. Won't be able to do much until next weekend since got to get everything ready for thursday. See you soon, my friend

I wondered if I could link to you, either here or on your blog, on my blog post?
Melanie Oh definitely! I don't have a photo of the ornament on my blog (although I would love a link to my blog :) ) and certainly here would be great. Thanks!!
Done! Thank you!!!
Melanie No, thank YOU! LOL! Because you motivated me, I ended up crafting a little post here on my blog: http://www.caribousmom.com/2012/12/05/a-little-christmas-stitching/ Hope it was okay to give you a linky love to your Threadbias studio and blog :)
