Looks interesting! Love polka dots. Can't wait to see finished project.

Sewzalot

Ooooh, look at all that cute ribbon! Can't wait to see!

Mary

Polka dots always make me smile...not sure why :)

Quilt455

I am with you all, I love polka dots. I have other christmas fabric that I am also trying a few thing with so I will post them all at one time.

Caribousmom

Look at those fabulous dots! Can't wait to see what you come up with :)

Terryt1955

Holy Moly, did you do all these today???!!! I love them all. I was thinking of trying the woven star myself and I really love how yours came out. I also love the folded origami stars. Soooo cute!

Quilt455

Thanks Terryt. No, I did not do these all in one day. Been doing them off and on for more than a week.but just got around to taking some pictures. My favorite are also the woven star anbd origami stars. I kind of feel like the origami star is cheating since there is no sewing involved but I just love them. I give ornaments to friends for christmas each year and this year I am making them all origami stars. Once you get started, super easy.

Sewzalot

They are all adorable! I love the round stars. How are those made? They look really complicated!

Strandkorbtraum

so much more prettier than what I did ... reminds me not to forget to take it to the post office tomorrow.

Mymble

I was wondering if someone would make this pattern -saw a few tutorials after googling "Quilted Christmas Ornament" and thought it looked so clever- really nice job with it and I love your fabric choices.

Tinabartk

Love all your ornaments, especially the round stars!

Kathie

Wow! You've been really busy! These are wonderful!

Quilt455

Thanks everyone. I like the round star the best also. It is so easy to make but I feel like it is cheating because no sewing is involved. Think I might sew on the button next time so I can say I did sew it.(hehehehe) I get the pattern off the internet. I will post the link when I get home for anyone who would like to try it. Trust me, so easy I did it while watching Dancing with the Stars.

Quilt455

Strandkoribtraun: I love your star, in fact I copied it because I liked it so much.

Strandkorbtraum

Quilt455
and I was so not satsfied with the stars ... but good to know I can send them off without feelign bad.

Quilt455

There is not reason to feel bad; they are great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Caribousmom

These totally rock! I love them all - but I think my most favorite is that all polka dot one with the striped button - so stinkin' cute! Good job, my friend!!!

Quilt455

Thanks Wendy. That is my favorite one too of that style. I do love my dots.

True

I love these...all of me are so cute and you have some lucky friends!

Quilt455

Thanks True; I just have some great friends.

Rebeccajeffsmith

WOW!! You've been a very busy elf! These are so cute! Lucky friends and swap partner. I'm making the folded stars for all my family. 21 in all.

Quilt455

Rebecca, I also have 21 in my family that are close by and we spend all the holidays together. I was also thinking about making the folded star for each of them but not sure yet. I have a couple of other projects I need to finish first and I know christmas is going to be here before I am ready. Have fun making yours

Tinastitches

I tried making one of those balls last week and it was a total failure! Yours look fantastic!

Quilt455

Tinastitches, you should give it another try. After the first one it really is very simple. Here is the tutorial I used. http://crafterwithoutacat.blogspot.com/2009/08/ornament-tutorial.html. I changed it up a little by not folding pointd for the first section because I wanted more depth and I cut my strip to finish it off 2 inches and ended with a one in strip to make sure everything was covered. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions I might be able to help with,

Ivyquilts

These are really cute! My favorite is the ball. Thanks for posting the link. I'm going to have to try making some of those.

Quilt455

You are welcome Ivyguilts, so easy once you do one of them.

Justine

Quilt455

Justine It is okay. glad you got it and know that we have been answering you. All sites are so different, sometimes it is really hard to figure things out.

Justine

yes true and also when watching a 2 year old its hard to concentrate to look and learn... being a grandma my mind does not click to this computer stuff so quickly!1 lol thanks again!!

Quilt455

Trust me, I totally understand since I also have a 2 yr old grandson and a 5 year old granddaughter and when they are around; twice a week, I get nothing done and could not learn something new; just the way I like it. lol.
