Great quilt just love the colors and fabrics!
Love these wonky little squares but for the life of me can't figure it out! Great fabric too. The border fabric is yummy!
Looks great, how did you do it?
Thanks for the compliments. This is very easy and fun sewing as I deliberatly cut a bit wonky when squaring the final block. The conept is from the Sharyn Craig series of "Layer 'em Up" books - this specifically from book #2. A set of fabrics are layered - I used a layer cake for the first one (actually a pair of baby quilts) and sliced. then put back together into a block after you shuffle the center piece of fabric from the top to the bottom of the pile. This is the kind of project I keep ready to sew for when I only have a little time to sew (as I don't have to work too hard to figure out what I am doing) and for when I need quick gifts for special people or events.
I love the wonky blocks and the colors.
Love the colors, the wonkyness and the calming border- everything works!
