Description

The fabric line caught my eye at a shop so I bought the layer cake and extra fabric for a border without knowing what I would do with it.  Shortly after that I needed a baby quilt for a little girl and knew it would be perfect.  The pattern is from Sharyn Craig's Layer'em Up #2.  By adding a couple of fabrics from my stash I was able to make enough blocks for two baby quilts.  Used 80/20 batt and Minkee for the back - learned that you do not want to overly stretch the Minkee when loading on the longarm or you will get a lot of spring back when taken off the frame.  The back is so soft that the extra fullness on the top does not even show much and the quilt is very soft.  Both quilts were very well received and so much fun to make.
