Oh dear- I'm afraid this is going to just break the "Cuteness Meter"- absolutely adorable- can't wait to see it all done up:)
First and foremost congratulations!! And what a sweetheart of a quilt...love it and love the outfit as well. How did you do quilting?
True Thanks! I used my walking foot and stitched variable spaced vertical lines from the back using the lines on the eyelet print, then sewed the up&down herringbone lines from the front. I kept my inspiration pictures handy and crossed my fingers. I was tempted to stop the herringbone pattern at the edge of the country mouse print and do something different in the white inner border, but decided I didn't have the time.
Darling quilt! And congrats, grandma.
LOVE the quilting on this!! This is a wonderful quilt and the outfit to match is perfect! Congrats on getting it finished just in time not to mention becoming grandmother again.
So cute... I love those little Country Mice so much.
Very beautiful I bet your granddaughter will just love it forever
thanks all! Can't wait to add to picture of Elsie sleeping, wrapped in or playing on the quilt!
