Description

December 1, 2012: I’m using a pattern by Carrie Nelson found in A Touch of Rosie Quilts called Due South. This  pattern uses a combination of flying geese and star blocks and has a terrific pieced border. I’ve got all the fabric cut and have been working away on piecing all those flying geese – whew. I’m using the Papillion collection by 3 Sisters.

I love the pattern and I've never seen such beautiful fabric. I love it.

Seshlaman Thanks - the Rosie patterns are really great...I love 3 Sisters fabrics and this one is really beautiful, I think.

What a pretty quilt. I look forward to seeing more of it. Side note...I too, use ziplocs for project storage. :-)

Janquilter Ziplocks are the best, aren't they!?!? I use them for everything :)

I'm using this fabric too! Here's the link to my project: https://www.threadbias.com/projects/papillon-lap-quilt

The pattern you've selected is going to be beautiful! Can't wait to see it finished. I label large ziplocs too! I don't know what I'd do without them... my space would be even more cluttered (if that's even possible!)

Jessicalam Thanks for the link to your project - love it! LOL re: the zip locks...yes, helps to organize the clutter :)
