This is very pretty look forward to seeing whole quilt.
I love how this comes together and makes that secondary pattern with white X's...lovely!
Caribousmom True Thanks so much! I saw this quilt made up in a shop years ago and was thrilled to learn it was sold in a kit. This was way before Moda introduced the Jelly Roll concept, at that time the strips were called "worms"! I'll be having this professionally quilted and hope to get the top ready after I finish my Christmas sewing.
Worms huh? I think I like the jelly strips name a lot better! I love the white X's in the quilt breaking up the lovely prints and showing them off. My brain can't handle too much busyness so this is a great pattern! Can't wait to see it added to the UFO finished pile!
Terryt1955 I agree about the worms! I used to do a lot of 2.5" strip swaps and we always called them noodles... I guess that's a step up from worms.
Love this- I agree with Caribousmom -the secondary pattern from the x's is great. And I like your name for it - no worms!;))))
I love the scrappy look! Very pretty fabrics.
I really like the colors you chose and the white X's are perfect.
Love your fabrics and the white Xs are great.
I love this one too. The fabrics are so fresh
I love this pattern! Your choice of fabrics really make it stand out too.
I have been eyeing this pattern and will now add it I my "must do" list! It looks great!
You are a regular quilting machine. Congrats on all your finishes lately. You gotta be feeling great about these!
I love how you did the border on this one...it really makes a statement with this quilt...really beautiful.
BEAUTIFUL!!! One of the prettiest tops I have seen in a long time!
This is gorgeous! Definitely an heirloom quilt!
Cannot wait to see quilted it will be a stunner!!
I have this book, too--it was given to me by a friend years ago. Funny how they called them worms back them. Jelly rolls are brilliant. I pulled my copy back out of the basement. You've inspired me to give it a try. Yours is beautiful.
The colors in this quilt are so gorgeous, they somehow work for every season. Beautiful quilt!
