ohh that's really nice for a chef/hostess as gift - any ideas what you are going to get to eat?
It is all potluck. I think there is some effort by the 2 hostessing to coordinate things so we aren't all salads or desserts. I was first to RSVP and I offered a dessert. I made a Pear Crumble cake from and Australian cookbook I have.
To finish what I was saying... Kathy usually does some kind of amazing salad and appetizer, though when she has had it at her home, she cooks a lot of the food.
I hope I'm not the only dessert there. It may be very small portions if it is.
Laurel does can do amazing things with chocolate, so I hope she is doing one of her cakes.
I'll have to tell Kathy about this site. She is a sewist from way back. Her mom too. In fact, her mom worked at the store where I took lessons in free motion embroidery (back around 1977). It was sewing on those machines that inspired me to buy my Elna.
