Description

In creating this pillow, I used the following techniques:
machine piecing
hand quilting
creating and inserting piping
hidden zipper (in edge with piping)
hand-embroidery
pattern transfer
construct a handmade pillow form (great for when you need a custom size)
machine quilting

While there were a lot of steps involved, I think it makes a great gift!

I'd love to know more about how you made the pillow form. Do you have a tutorial?

NellieNussbaum

Thanks, everyone, for your kind comments! Seattle, pillow forms are really easy. I will put together a tutorial on my blog,http:// nouveaustitch.com. Give me a day or two to put it together. Ellen

I've added a tutorial on constructing pillow inserts (forms) here: http://nouveaustitch.com/2013/01/03/insert-instructions-here/. Hope this helps, Speattle!
