Description

This quilt is part of a series of quilts. I make one each year using fabrics I have purchased that year, and, in some cases, fabrics that I have used that year. This is one of my most successful quilts and one of my favorite pieces. You can see more about the series and the different quilts at: http://artquiltmaker.com/blog/quilts-2/series-quilts/fabric-of-the-year-quilts/ This quilt was hung at the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles August 16-October 16, 2011.Quilted by Colleen Granger.

Fun quilt. I love the quilting too.

What a great idea! sort of like a fabric scrapbook of your purchases!

Jlapac

Speattle That is exactly what it is like. I have this piece hanging in my hallway and walk by and think "you know, I should find that fabric. It would work really well in the piece I am working on." The concept also helps me know what fabrics I should buy more of right away. You know how fast they go away.

Whatthebobbin Thanks. My quilter is a lifesaver.
