Description

This was my first attempt at foundation paper piecing. I enlarged the patterns 200% and made a mini quilt wall hanging. From the book Pretty in Patchwork Holidays by John Q. Adams.

Oh, I love it! I have been culling my stash for fabrics for this project and I believe I have the same background that you have used. I didn't know if I should do a dark blue, but after seeing this, I think I will give it a go.

I also wanted to do something other than red for the scarf because I didn't want it to end up looking like a Fourth of July polar bear.

This is too cute!

Jschlender

This is adorable! I like the gray and the green scarf, makes it look much more "wintery" rather than holidayish.

R-U-Kidding? That is your first attempt- You are good! I only did the Polar-Bear, and had to rest! Couldn't imagine attempting all 3 right out of the gate. It looks adorable!
