Quilt455 take a look and see if this is what you had in mind. Please excuse my very elementary design software!
This is fun!
Oh my gosh, this is exactly what I was looking for, Thank you so very much. YOU ARE THE BOMB!!!!!!!!!!111
I even like the colors you used. Just love it. Dear kind Allpatchedup is making a tutorial for me since that is way, way beyond my skills. I can not believe how excited I am. Miss Terryt, I owe you and Angela one or maybe even two.
Quilt455 Glad you like it. I had fun with my colored pencils last night. I think it would be really fun to design fabric!
Terryt, I have never used graft paper to figure out a quilt; something new to put into my thngs to try. Once again, thanks so much
Hi, This looks great. The two strips on the sides add up to 13"x2.5" each, but the 4 strips in the center add up to 13.5"x2.5" each. Will you just trim the excess when the block is done?
Jillofallcrafts I believe that Terry has the cutting sizes written down here....the extra on each strip is to account for seam allowances. This means the block will finish at 12" when it's all sewn together.
Gotcha! I just added them up without taking seam allowances into account.
Sorry, I should have said "cut" next to the sizes!
Love this block. I can't wait to see what it becomes!
Hmmm, would what I am going to decide.....stay tuned
