LOVE these all of them it is going to be so fun to see the quilt you make...and of course I love the dog;-) Sons and dogs do keep our lives way more interesting...I think the pictures came out wonderful. But what do I know I still have a dumb phone;-)
I am so pleased with all the blocks
love, love the colors I see! And the dog. I see a granny square quilt somewhere in my future. These really inspire me.
Doesn't Rocky know he was supposed to make a block I guess he can get away with it since he's so cute. What a face!
The blocks are wonderful. How exciting to get these in the mail! Would you consider this an easy block for Newbee's?
LOL, Rocky likes squirrels, not quilting. He's just starting to turn grey, except on that funny ridge down his nose.
Granny Squares would be a super easy block for Newbee's. The block only needs squares cut, all the same size and since its scrappy, its fun to dig into your stash. Here's the tutorial:
Ohh, good to know! Thanks for the tutorial. I mightjust have to choose this for my month since I've only pinned at least 40 of these quilts.
Love the block and heart!!
Your quilt is going to be beautiful! Love Rocky in the midst of quilt block pictures !
So great to see all the blocks coming in- really great!
Thanks Ladies, for all the nice comments, and thank you to everyone who made the blocks!
Carolmarie regarding quilting...no, I have not thought that far ahead! But, I think straight line hand-quilting. I'm a little afraid to trim them down to size! And, I want to make a special Bee Bias label :)
True so sorry True. i hit the wrong reply button. you so rock in my world! thank you for the compliment!
Oh what a great new block!!
Laweigel These are beautiful. I love them all. I can not wait to see your finished quilt; it is going to be beautiful
Thank you Quilt455 ! But, all the credit goes to my creative Bee Bias group. I am looking forward to getting all the blocks together and sharing the progress. Its going to be a favorite quilt of mine :)
And we can't wait to see it!
Great new addition!!!
Delighted to see that my parcel has safely arrived. Yes I did make the bag too, it is also a japanese design and ever so simple, 2 equilateral triangles sewn together, turned & sewn up.
I'm so happy I found this project. I was wondering when we would see ALL the blocks. How fantastic!!! I love all those bright colors you got. You are going to have SEW much fun placing them and moving them and moving them again to get them all just where you want them. Looking forward to seeing how you lay them out and then eventually, no pressure!, the finished product. Talented gals in this group!
I love all the blocks, they all play off each other, and it is going to be a great quilt!
Oh I love Jody's addition!
Wonderful set of blocks there, and Rocky is just too cuute!
This is gorgeous! love seeing the top done. This block the more I see of it the more I like as it really does work as a scrap quilt, a coordinated one whatever! Great job.
Lori- it looks fabulous- do you have an idea yet for the backing?
Thank you True , its really going to be a special quilt. Thanks, Carolmarie , I'm going to try to get this done in a more timely manner! And, Mymble , Thanks! I was just thinking about the back...not sure yet, maybe white with a band of little 2 1/2" blocks of scraps? I'm going to hand quilt this one.
Laweigel oh wow hand quilt huh, I admire you. I don't think I could hand quilt anything larger than a doll quilt. I can't wait to see the finished quilt
Lovely seeing all the blocks put together! I ended up choosing this block as well and can't wait to turn them into a quilt. Yours gave me inspiration to move it to the top 5 of my list!
Nexxus831 I love to hand quilt. I cant afford to send all my quilts out to be quilted, so I just started doing them by hand. I stopped worrying about making little tiny stitches and just jumped in and now my stitches are fairly consistent. Terryt1955 what are the other quilts on your list??? Please share! Thank you Mymble , I will enjoy quilting this...might use a color around each block...will keep you posted!
What a beautiful quilt! How fun it was to have the opportunity to contribute to your creation!
LOVE IT, love the bright cheery colors against the white. Cant wait to see how you quilt it!
