Beautiful choice in fabrics. Can't wait to see the block completed.
Nexxus831 thank you! I bought these for the other Bee (Bee Biased) for the block for the February Queen and fell in love with them when they arrived. So when I offered to jump into this other Bee unexpectedly they were sitting on table staring at me and I realized they should work perfectly for this block. Hope to get in made tonight or tomorrow!
Beautiful block True!! Love how everything plays so well together...and that center medallion, gorgeous! :)
This is really nice. Mary, are you in both hive 1 and 2? you are a busy girl
Cool! Nice choice of fabrics.
I'm confused too.Are you in 3 hives?! And you are finishing up UFO's for the FQ swap? Okay. time to come clean. I want to know what "supplements" you are taking and are they legal.
Great color combination here. It really cheers up this block!
Terryt1955 LOL right now I need some supplements as I have been sick so long I feel like I should crawl under a rock. So yes Terry and Quilt455 I am now in three hives. Hive #2 had their February queen disppear and Allpatchedup needed someone to step in and help so I said I would. I have to say I have felt so yucky that it has been nice having smaller things to do as the bigger UFO's require a bit more energy than I have had. I hope I will be back on track any moment!
I certainly hope you start to feel better soon True !! You've definitely had your fill of sick by now. And this nasty weather we've been having certainly isn't helping...it just sucks the energy right out of everyone.
Sewnsew All I know is whatever she's on I want on. She cranks out so any great projects big and small! I think I need to be cut off from the Internet to see some productivity.....
Allpatchedup Carolmarie Sewnsew and Terryt1955 thank you all... I do think as of late yesterday I finally may be headed in right direction health wise we shall see...just finished second round of antibiotic Thursday so fingers crossed!! LOL about doping...all you would get is lot of water and chicken soup;-). And I spend way too much time on Internet as my iPad makes it too easy to access!! I do love this block and fabric so very happy I jumped in to Bee:-)
The blocks are looking gorgeous all together True !! Can't wait to see this finished...I really enjoyed this pattern. :)
Loving your blocks Mary!!
My mom is doing what you mentioned....using the same block for two different hives/Queen months so that she has enough blocks to make one larger quilt. Definitely an idea! :)
AllPatchedUp Carolmarie thank you.., and there is a whole lot of talent here for sure! And I feel so lucky to benefit from it! Angela I saw your mom mention that as well...I had been toying with the idea for awhile and then was not sure I wanted to wait BUT I so love how these blocks are coming together all on their own that I kind of do not want to take control of it by being the one to finish all the rest. Now I could change my mind as waiting may prove too much for me;-) (Not that I don't have enough to keep me busy;-)
I know what you mean about letting the quilt come together on its own True ....I love when they do that!! And I could certainly see why you'd want that to continue. :) If you decide to wait, I'll do my best to remind you to 'leave it alone'!!
Great idea to collect some more from your other hive. The ones you have so far look fantastic. I am so glad I still have about 6 months before I make a final decision on my block choice. i keep seeing beautiful blocks on the other hives
This is gorgeous!
Missriain Thank you...such talent and great fabric choices from my fellow threaders. I have it on my design wall in my bedroom and love seeing it!
These are wonderful., It is so fun to see how everyone decided to create their block.
Quilt455 So agree and truly amazing how they seem to be balancing each other out...a couple in each color (or more) so really works!
Wow Mary you did an AMAZING job of putting these diverse blocks together.
Fun to see these again! Looks wonderful.
Are you kidding me! This is what it looks like when all put together? I absolutely love it!!! I think the pain of having different sized blocks was well worth the end results. Beautiful, fresh, lively and ready for a picnic!
Mary, I really like this one - I know it has been a challenge to piece together, but the colors are great!
Beautiful quilt!! Love all the gorgeous blocks together
True it's been nice having some free time to sew and get things done. I will have to get another job soon but it's nice for now.
oh the scrappiness here!! love it!
Ormondbeach thanks! I really love this one...am waiting on a new straight stitch sewing machine I ordered with a larger throat and then will get it quilted and done!,
mary, this came out great! I am so glad you are loving your new machine :)
Beautiful finish Mary. Your colors are amazing. Your bee-urifl squares made a lovely quilt!
That was Bee-utiful not sure why it changed.
Quilterinmotion thank you...th colors were all just luck of what was sent me as I did not set color preferences. I really loved seeing what came in the mailbox and how it ended up working!
Carolmarie thank you and I love it! The larger throat alone makes it so much easier and then there are many other things that also help!!
Love the quilting on it. Perfect choice for this top
Oh, I a picture of a quilt in the snow!
Wow- looks awesome Mary and the backing is wonderful!
True , this one is definitely a keeper for you as so many of your TB friends had a part in it! The backing is adorable too. It looks so great and happy you enjoyed your FMQ experience with the new machine.
I never would have thought to photograph a quilt in the snow. Nice photos.
Dzirin thank you...since it was still so fresh and bright out there it seemed to be calling me:-)
Lovely and what a great setting for the quilt. That's one way to put a positive spin on 10 inches of snow!
Love the background fabric and on sale to boot.
This is gorgeous, Mary! Love the backing fabric you chose and it looks so awesome in all that fresh white snow!!!
