Description

Feb: Stepping Stone Path. I'm following many other Newbees' idea of completing two blocks for each month. One for me and one for the Queen. In my first attempt the pink squares weren't quite in line, even though I was sure I double checked my pinning. I had much more success in the second so I will post that one. This was fun, quick and enjoyable to complete.

March: Saw Tooth Star for Craftiebee

April: Attempt no. 1 of HST for +Jonellk is not quite right. Will try a second version later today!

I'm happier with the second version although there are still about two points not lined up....hope that's ok!

May: I forgot to take a photo before sending it off!

June: My first scrappy trip along....I have seen these blocks before and have thought they looked a bit complex but it was really fun to do....and not as difficult as I first thought! Thanks +Joke. The picture is a bit dark and dingy as the rain clouds have descended!

Oh, those seams! ;)
Second attempt turned out great -- very pretty. :)

Kruppcake

Your points look great on the second one! Very nice job.

Oh Becky, this block is beautiful. Love your fabric and your points are right on. Putting a grey and white strip would never have occurred to me and I just love it.

True

love!!

AllPatchedUp

Your fabrics for the sawtooth are fantastic Becky!! Great choice. :)

Quilt455

Love you sawtooth Becky; great fabric

Craftiebee

I love the fabrics you chose for the March block! And the single red point, the single diamond pattern point - lots of great details!

Skynme

You did a fantastic job! Your HST's look perfect, much better than any of the ones I have ever turned out. Your sawtooth is beautiful.

Terryt1955

You are too hard on yourself. These HST's are tricky little buggers with all their bulk at certain parts. Relax and enjoy the beautiful colors you chose!

Thanks True ...I'm just on my second attempt now. Don't worry, the first block will be turned into a cushion cover so it won't go to waste!

your hst blocks are very pretty. I am also having issues with the points matching but I am not giving up!

AllPatchedUp

Becky your blocks are great. I love your fabric choices.

As for the HST blocks, keep trying ladies, it's very good practice with all that seam matching! Don't give up! :)

Skynme

Oh your June block turned out fantastic. Great Job!

Quilt455

Nice block for June; Can't wait until Joke has it all put together.

Joke

Love the fabrics!! The stripy one makes me think of the rainbow striped candy canes :D
