Nicely done. I can never get my Y-seams to lay flat or have all the points so crisp. Great contrast with your colors. Now what? More Y-seams?
Charwirfs aye sure lots and lots of more Y-seams ... the center of the star is actually more of a problem than the Y-seams ...
WOW impressive!! These are awesome and y seams and points in the middle you have way more guts than I do!
True well I wanted to do the pattern, but it's out of a hand sewing pattern book, so well I cut everything and then really didn't want to draw the 1/4" seam allowance on all the pieces and figured there had to be a way to sew it with the machine.
Then it was just trial and error - and I'm getting better, adjusting the sequence of which parts are sewn when to what. And I really really like that pattern.
Very cool- great sewing- is this for a quilt?
Mymble ehh yes - at least that's the masterplan - so far I'm thinking 4 stars wide ... maybe I should draw that somewhere .. see if reality can keep up with my thinking.
Ha ha- let me know if that works- I could use some of that!
I LOVE THIS! it's amazing.I'd love to know how you did it.
Those are really lovely.
It means you will get plenty of practise.
These are wonderful. You are braver then me; Y seams! I love you fabric choices
These are so pretty!
