Description

The coins were from a swap and have been sewn together... so next step is to assemble the top.

9/4: I finally have a plan for this stalled project - instead of a twin size quilt I'm making it smaller for a Project Linus donation quilt.  I'm not a fan of these pastel colors anymore but wanted to do something with it.  The leftover coins and yellow fabric will be pieced together for a backing.  I still have to add the borders to the top which are also yellow.

It's a flimsy!

9/24:  DONE!  I love how the quilting turned out on this one.  I don't think I've ever used the background fabric for binding but it just seemed to work here.

Blogged HERE.

Conniharns Thank you! I think this will become a nice throw size quilt for spring... I haven't really looked at it in years.

Wow, nice quilt. Colors are great and I love the quilting. The yellow sashing and binding are perfect for the prints. Back is cute too. Any baby and Mom would love this. Good for you, donating it.

Charwirfs Thank you! I think I might have found the love for this one again and I hope it finds a good home.

HawkFan Carolmarie Thank you both. I was glad the sun came out today... pastels are so hard to photograph. It turned into a fun project after all.
