Description

This is a quilt I made  2 years ago from Moda's  Hello Betty!  I used Carolina Patchworks' pattern "another brick in the wall".  Fun quilt to make.  I gave this quilt to my son's very sweet and cute college friend Katlin.  The picture of the three of them are of Kaitlin (wrapped up in the quilt I made her) my son (the red head) and his best friend, who is a Marine - Booyay!!.  They went and visited Kaitlin at VA Tech over a Thanksgiving break and the three of them cooked a turkey!
Thanks, +Craftytammie , for posting your quilt, so I remembered this one!

Love it- love the fabric and the pattern is so fun. And love seeing your pics- I have a redhead son as well! Gingers rock!!!

Laweigel

Oh, I do love redheads! I was in the market and when he was 3, a lady stopped me and asked what boxed color I used to dye his hair! So funny, can you imagine getting a 3 year old to sit still to get their hair done?! I miss him, he's in Boston away at college. Great place to be a redhead, plus he turns 21 this month. Look out Boston!

Mymble

Laweigel Mine's in Waco, TX- they have Kick a Ginger Day there at his school! and its texas so they take it seriously- talk about crazy- but he's a Junior now- just turned 21, and deals with it ok:(((

True

Love this quilt! and what a fun picture...

Laweigel

Thanks True and Mymble ! You two are the sweetest. Can't seem to get one of my pictures of the three friends to show up...any ideas?

Mymble

Laweigel when I have had photo troubles I would go back and crop it and then reload it- seemed to do the trick.
