This is very cute...and I am so impressed you just went for it! Great animals and love the elephant fabric. Congrats and welcome to the addition called quilting;-)
Thank you! I had fun making it but felt out of my depth at times. I'd like to make another baby sized quilt at some point once I've done some more reading (was a little too gung-ho this time so didn't read much proir to making it - ooops!)
I should have mentioned - it needs ironed in this photo. It had just dried after being washed because my FIL's dog jumped up and put a footprint on it before I'd attached the back!
Oh No, it is all over now; you will be thinking about fabric, batting and quilting almost every minute from now on. Forget housework, shopping for anything but fabric but please remember to shower once in a while. hehehehe I think you did a great job on this quilt. I love your little animals and the way you decided to quilt it. Hope you enjoyed that process and welcome to the club!
Quilt455 I already am thinking about fabric... My partner was sooo happy when I told him that I thought I had enough yarn for knitting now. I let him bask in that happiness for a little while before casually mentioning that I was making space in my craft corner for fabric!!
DM82 Okay, that is really too funny, My poor husband has been through the same thing with me. Hey, helps keep them on their toes.
A fantastic first quilt!! I love those animals and the fabrics you chose for them. Jump right in....fabric collecting is the most fun!
