Description

I participated in a 2.5" square fabric swap.  All those little bitty bits of colour were calling my name so I just had to use some up. I used a lot of orange, yellow, gold, green and light browns with bits of purple, grey, pink and peach thrown in.  I didn't use any reds.  I think the backing fabric will be so great for it.

I love this fresh, clean pattern.  The pattern is from Moda Bakeshop and is called Wiggly Whimsy.  I took this to a quilt retreat with me a couple of weeks ago and finished it there.  I can't wait to get the backing on and get it done.

1/1/14  Finished!!!

11/3/14  This quilt went to happy married couple for their wedding gift.  They LOVED it and I am so happy.

Wouldn't cha know? Only Moda's Bakeshop has patterns that look good enough to eat. This is simply charming.

Boy you wouldn't catch me making a quilt with all these little pieces..lol but they look so great with all the white and done by you it just fits. The backing is again just perfect...love it!

Slicksister

Actually ootsgirl the quilt is all strip pieced. The only small pieces were the colored squares which I got in a swap. Thanks for the love!

I love this! It would be a perfect project for my "leaders and enders". Maybe that will be my next L&D project after I finish "Goodnight Irene". Thanks for sharing this beauty!
