Description

My second attempt at the dishtowel apron for the April apron swap (Progressive Swap) here on Threadbias. Much smoother second time around! I decided to use decorative stitching instead of rick rack on this one. I also only divided the pocket in half instead thirds as suggested in the tutorial. Since this one is also made with a cheap dishtowel that shrank two inches on both sides, halves made more sense. I'm much more pleased with this one and will be giving it to my SIL as a hostess gift for having us over for Easter Dinner.

These look great. The terry cloth towel on the back is so helpful to dry hands on while cooking. And the fabrics on the front are so trendy.

Oh, even better. I see the towel part is in the middle. Clever pattern. I would so use these in my kitchen.

Great idea for using the apron as a hostess gift. I might just do the same for my daughter for Easter. Thanks for posting your project.
