I saw a youtube tutorial on the rapid fire lemoyne star and decided to make a quilt for my niece with that block as the pattern for the quilt. I was going to make her a jelly roll race quilt, but the lemoyne star seemed more appropriate since she resides in Texas and is a softball star. Once I figured out the dimensions for the block using the jelly roll fabric for the star, I was able to move forward with the quilt. I figured I wanted to make 25 blocks to make a square lap quilt for her.
I've started piecing the blocks, but overdosed on the process and I've stopped for a moment with 5 blocks to go to finish the top.
4/18 All the blocks are done. Just need to piece them together.:relaxed:
3/4 Quilt is finished and on its way to Texas.
3/11 My niece received her quilt and loved it!!:yellow_heart::yellow_heart: Yay!!
