These look like really fun fabrics! I'm sure the bride & groom will love it. My advice--keep moving forward! You'll be glad you did.
Are you connecting these squares directly, or putting borders around them? If you are connecting them directly, I would stitch a few together now. That way it would begin to look more like the finished project. P.S. They don't necessarily have to speak to you....just the couple for whom you are making this. It is going to be lovely....
You are off to a good start. Lay them out on your wall or on the floor and try adding something from your stash that you love. It may spark your interest again. Good advice from everyone. Stay with it.
Keep going! Your blocks look fantastic in these fabrics... what is it that you aren't liking?
The pattern calls for at least one more border and set of corner squares per block. I have a ton of blocks, but I'm afraid that it won't look right if I stop now. Especially since I've started adding that second border to some of the blocks already, so I'd be seam ripping if I decide to stop now.
Put on some good music and go! You can do it!
Do these squares have the second border that you mentioned? If so, I think I'd try some neutral-colored sashing between the blocks - lay them out with the sashing on your design wall to see how they work. Maybe add a different color corner squares to see how that changes the look of the quilt?
