Description

May 2013:  My month to be Queen of Hive #5!!
Pattern: Churn Dash Block
Colors:  teals, turquoise, and limey greens
Some blues would be fine if they would work closely with these other colors.  (see inspiration photo)
I prefer Kona Snow as the background fabric.  If you like you may also reverse the block fabrics and use the color fabric for the background.
Inspiration:  I would like to use a color scheme similar to this one...

Please follow the tutorial for size, and DO NOT trim your block before sending it. I will trim the blocks to the same size after receiving them all.  I am excited to see the block each of you create.  Let me know if you have any questions. Happy sewing....and I hope you have fun!
Siggy Block:  Hive #5 suggested a siggy block that should add a very nice effect!!  We will be using this tutorial as suggested by Menolly13 (thanks!).  http://sparrowquilts.com/tutorials/siggy-block-tutorial-block-swap/
However, Please DO NOT sign the actual quilt blocks.  :)

I really like having small projects to fill in between all the decision making of the big projects, I have a feeling I'm going to make a bunch of these little churn dash blocks, because I have so many choices to pick from in your colors!

angmarie
