Description

I created this Artist Apron for my mother's 84th birthday. She's going to Hawaii in June and will take her watercolor pencils and sketch pad with her. She calls it her Painting Smock!

I inserted pockets in the side seams (which I've never done before in an apron!), but then she requested an additional big pocket in the front. It's there, but hard to see in the picture because I matched the print!

All is top stitched in hot pink, matching the buttons on the yo-yo's. The yo-yo's cleverly hides a little tuck I made behind where the straps connect. This process pulled the yoke in just a tad rather than allow it to gap open. She looks so cute in this apron/smock!
