Description

For May, Queen Rebeccajeffsmith chose a traditional block called Jacob's Ladder and requested we use blue, red and white-to-tan background. Since this is a traditional block I wanted to use more muted colors. I had some cute off white mini polka dot material in my stash that just had it's name on it for this. I used some blue fabric left over when trimming the border on my first quilt. It pays to hang on to stuff! It's hard to tell in the photo but it is a blue on blue tonal that I just love.
Hope you like it as much as I liked making it! Good choice Rebecca!

5/19/13 A little face time with the seam ripper and all is good in the universe again. That's what I get for rushing before the grand baby came over today. Nana is losing it!

Uh Oh. Some thing doesn't look right! Didn't notice until I saw the photo of it. Where's my seam ripper.....

I have become such good friends with my seam ripper! It will be put right in no time. I like the dot fabric in there.

True

Love this that white polka dot is so darn cute! I think I should name my seam ripper we are so close;-)

Well we could go for the obvious and call it "Jack"! I love that polka too. I really should try and get some more.

Carolmarie Thanks! I have 3 rippers. One has a rubber like handle and I find I chew on it while doing intricate sewing. Ewww gross! I use to chew on pencils and bic pens but in my older years I prefer something softer. Would you say I have an issue?

Carolmarie is right, I do love it! Can't wait for the mailman!

I didn't bring it with me to work today to mail. Sorry!!
