Love your first blocks! I was tempted (several times) to join in. I have the sampler of the book on my new Kindle but have not bought the book yet. Now that I see I can follow along via a new group on Threadbias, maybe that's all I need to join up! I'll spend the rest of the day being tempted....
I bought the book too and a few of us are doing it in my Wednesday night group. However I must confess I haven't done 1 block yet! Is there a Threadbias group?
Found it and joined! This is what I need to kick my butt into gear.
Terryt1955 Awesome! The official sew along is on flickr, run by Sew Sweetness, but this is great too!
Readerowl Thank you! Seriously the cutting takes longer than the sewing! Very quick little blocks to sew up - like 15 minutes a piece. Hope you join in too!
Hi Debbie! What a great blocks and your fabrics are beautiful as always!
Your blocks are beautiful, and the colours stunning. Going to be a lovely quilt when done. I still can't decide on my colours.
You have a great eye for color! These blocks are yummy!
Just beautiful. Can't wait to end my seasonal job in two weeks to jump on this bandwagon.
Aquilterstable Have found my fabrics. Yah. Zen Chic comma range with matching moda solids. So greys, black, chartreuse, lime, orange and mustard. Quite excited now.
Capetowngirl oh yay! That sounds awesome! I love that line!!! Can't wait to see some blocks!
Am so jealous. Really want to get mine started, but must finish my sons quilt first.
Capetowngirl Understandable! I find I can use these as a nice starter/ender project as I work on other things. Thankfully they are small and quick to put together. Good luck getting your 'must do' done so you can play along!!
These are just so pretty. I've enjoyed following along on your blog. I have downloaded your grid so when I finally start this project, that will be a big help!
your blocks are awesome!
I love seeing them all together. Beautiful layout!
Your quilting is absolute amazing...what a beautiful finish.
