Fox Hunt - Table Runner by corginole
Country lanes table runner
The 5th Quilter's Academy Freshman Year Project. I chose a border fabric for many of the elements, which resulted in more practice fussy cutting. This runner had two options for the layout - one was a flat end and the other will feature a mitered border. In looking at my blog post, I now remember which fabric will be used in the border - so I need to pull that back out of my stash. All fabrics came from my stash (actually from a lot of greens purchased on eBay). I spent time working out various color combinations using graph paper and colored pencils and then photographing various choices.
This one will be quilted using Insulbrite so that it can be used for hot dishes.
I need to add the borders and quilt this.
Gus shows off the finished runner. It is taller than him, and I was warned that any dragging in the snow (rare for NC) was to be considered MY fault.
