Description

At a quilt show, I picked up the Richard Scary Busytown line in a variety of yards with no real plans. My children attend a wonderful daycare run by two sisters, sister A's son and daughter.  Then sister A's husband died suddenly. Despite their own mourning, they put the kids first. I knew we needed to do something for them.  I left a white rectangle of fabric for the kids to do something with - it came back with each kids' handprints as hearts... and I have been piecing around it with the ABC panels..

What a thoughtful gift and Busytown is perfect for Pre-School teachers. How did all the kids end up doing the hands theme? Precious.

Not sure who came up with the hearts idea - probably one of the teachers (they are all in on this). They had been doing handprints for Father's Day so the kids were all up for more messy hands!

So clever and such a kind a thoughtful gesture. This is so special and reflects how many hands can make a difference. Looks great too!
