Description

I made this for me!  After I made my first quilt for my parent's 50th anniversary (with no pattern or experience), I was inspired to learn more.  I loved the look and color of the quilt and never sew anything for myself.  I didn't buy the pattern but I eyeballed it from the pattern I saw and made it accordingly so I would say I don't know if I made the squares and sashing the exact size.

This is super cute and I love the colors of the fabric. Really beautiful! I see that your little helper really likes it as well...too cute!!!

Sure love the fabrics! The colors are lovely in this pattern.

Marlee is in most of my pictures. Every time I lay out fabric or to take a picture there she is. I am making another one of these with different colors from the same fabric line because I bought too much and didn't use many fabrics I purchased. I have the top done but am stalling. I used some of the dark pinks in the 2nd quilt and brighter fabrics. See if you can tell the difference in the pictures. The sashing is different too.

I really loved the colors as well....I am in love with flower sugar and Anew fabrics too and as soon as I can get my hands on that fabric I will be making many different things!

The focal fabrics are wonderful and your choice of sashing is perfect. The scale doesn't take away from the focal prints. Great job and impressed that you just dove in without a pattern!

Just went to the link showing the kit. I'd say you definitely got the ratio right. Bravo!
