Description

These are my contributions to the Circle Swap- the July Swap for the Progressive swap here on Threadbias.

Fun to make, simple to sew, definitely a technique I will use- seems perfect for a baby quilt especially.

Update 8/5/13 Circles have arrived and they are awesome!  Thanks everyone and thanks to +Chrissybugs for a great swap- can I just say right now, I think we should do this one again ???- so easy to make, and the results are so fun!

Update: 8/24 Circles from Nelda arrived today- we did a mini swap:)  Thanks +Nelco

Update10/10- Sending out my set of 40 for Round Two of the Circle Swap- The Progressive Swap has a different swap each month and what started as just 6 months of swaps is now planned into January and no end in sight (and newbies still welcome by the way)- may need to change our name to the NeverEnding Swap;)))))

How cute! What a great quilt...are you each making so many and then exchanging them?

Mymble

Thanks- Yes- we can send up to 10 sets of four- we get back as many as we sent so if you send 80 you get 80- any fabrics, white or neutral ground.

Caribousmom

What a great idea! How fun!

Capetowngirl

This looks fantastic. Have just read the tutorial and so easy. Another quilt to add to my "very" long list of to do.

Kruppcake

I agree!! Let's do it again. I think the Progressive Swap ends with September. Maybe we could do it again in October, before things get too crazy with the holidays.

Mymble

Kruppcake I'm in- these circles are great- and now that I've seen them- I need more:)

Kruppcake

Mymble Can it just be added to the Progessive Swap group? Or do we need to start a whole new group? I will agree to be the hostess.

Mymble

Kruppcake Why not add it to the Progressive swap...makes sense- and thanks for hostessing- when you get a moment just start a thread for October and I'll PM Chrissybugs to let he know and tell her it's all taken care of - and I'll post in the July swap to let everybody know- wouldn't be at all surprised if others from July want to do another round:) Thanks!

Capetowngirl

Ooh will look out for another swap as didn't do this one. Was a little confused as to what was going on. But now I see the circles it looks fantastic.

Kruppcake

Capetowngirl I added a thread (October circle swap 2) to the already existing group, Progressive Swap. Hope you look for it and sign up.

Mymble

Capetowngirl Yay...join in!...so fun and easy to make!

These are great Mymble. Love the grey/black/white. Maybe that will end up in my bag this time! These circles are almost like M&M's - can't stop once you start in on them!

Mymble

Quilterinmotion Thanks- The grey black and white are actually from my swap with Nelda- I love them but honestly- I don't really do that color scheme- shall we arrange a wee trade?

Quilterinmotion

Mymble , how many of them did you get? I dont do that color scheme either but I think they'd look great with some of the predominantly red circles I have.

If you have enough so you can keep some and still trade me one or two, yes. What colors do you do? I'll show you photos of some I have in the colors you like so you could choose.
