Description

Fibonacci Twins is I guess the name of my two little quilting projects that are stuck together. Not literally, but they are a pair.

I actually called one quilt Fibonacci Feathers, and the other Fibonacci Minimalist as I started off with a quilt panel and then made two distinct variations with them, one with a lot of stitching, and one with not so much stitching, and two different borders and binding.

I don't have a good place at home for these quilts yet, so they sit on top of my quilt rack.  I keep getting compliments by the same person, about the feathers done on the Fibonacci feather quilt.  At last after she said something at the show, I thought I remembered hearing that same comment before, from her, I think.

Anyway, it was nice to do. I had to redo the stitching on the feathers one since I didn't match the bottom thread color all that well the first time I did it.

I'm taking a class on Fibonacci quilting and just love these two examples!!! Thanks for posting them....they really give me a better idea of what to expect. I just hope mine will be as pretty as yours.

(Love the feather quilting, too!)
