Description

This wall hanging was created as part of a class.  We used Ricky Tim's Convergence method to create our projects.

I left my comfort zone color-wise with this project.  I tend to shy away from warm colors, especially oranges and yellows.  I purposefully chose colors that I wouldn't normally choose... and I love the way it turned out!

Right now, this is just a top - I haven't sandwiched it or gone beyond that.  I'm not quite sure what to do with it.  Until I decide, it will hang out in my UFO bin.

Fun! There is nothing wrong with something hanging out in the UFO bin to cure for a while. I have quite the full bin. Some things are still curing after 15 years.

I love that term - "curing." It makes it sound like they're serving a purpose in there! smile

This is very pretty. Isn't it great when you go outside your zone and are happy with the result?

caitcreates , I love this piece. The batiks are gorgeous and the play of the darks against the lighter orange-ish/yellows is superb. Nice job...when the curing process is finished, you will love the finished piece.

I love this! Such a sunny feeling - and I like the contrast int eh differnt fabric prints too.
