Description

I got a great fat quarter of bright solids and designed this quilt to display the colors.  I choose white cotton shot for the background to add texture and simple quilting to keep the quilt casual.  The 'greek crosses' are outlined with black quilting and the black binding really sets off all the colors, sort of like eyeliner.  The total quilt size is 60" x 72"

Love the colors and the placement of the crosses. The back fabric is pretty amazing, what is it?

Thank you!! The backing is Alexander Henry's "Larkspur Birds in Brite."

This is great. Love how you outlined the blocks with the black quilting. The crosses just pop, pop, pop. Do this in solids what a great idea.

Quilt455 Thanks :) I'm tempted to try this with a patterned background and neutral crosses, oh the possibilities.

LizzyAnne Yup, I can see this so many ways. Please post if you do another one, I would love to see it.
