Description

This pattern is called "Arkansas Crossing" from the book "Quilts from the Heart by Karin Renaud.

I used this UFO as a leader/ender project in late July/August when I put up my design wall.  Using half of the wall for this type of project is very motivating for me!

11/22: This UFO is in the DONE! column and I just LOVE it! It makes me happy everywhere I look.

I blogged about my quilting process HERE and about the finish HERE.

AND... drum roll... this is UFO Finish #52 for me this year!! I've met my goal to average one UFO finish a week in 2013. Woo Hoo!

Stamdl

stitchcat

Just saw this quilt pattern and it looks like a great way to destash scraps! Yours looks great!

HawkFan

great finish and I love the backing fabric

Stamdl

HawkFan stitchcat Thank you both! I have no idea why I didn't buy the rest of the bolt - 60" wide and 50% off! Must have been overwhelmed by all the other fabrics in the warehouse that day!

True

Wow awesome finish and you continue to amaze me!

Stamdl

True Thank you so much! I am thrilled, believe me. smile

Charwirfs

I love that you are finishing all your UFO's. Doing one a week amazes me. It is so rewarding to make a major goal and to stay focused enough to accomplish it. This "no-longer-UFO is stunning.

Stamdl

Charwirfs Thank you! I've got a ways to go... but 30+ is way better than 100+ and it has been very rewarding to steadily work towards this goal.

ArloDeanQuilts

This is wonderful! One day I want to do a scrappy quilt but I am not sure I could make it look as nice as this.

Stamdl

ArloDeanQuilts Thank you! You can do it... even your not so pretty fabrics look great cut into 2" squares - trust me!

ArloDeanQuilts

Stamdl one of these days I am going to get the guts to try it! Thank you for the encouragement!
