Description

I promised this quilt to my 6 year old niece as a replacement for her baby blanket that had become too worn out to use anymore.  It is a disappearing 9-patch, with all the squares facing the same way.  Made with charm squares, and the final dimensions are about a yard square.  I love the black and white kitties on the back!  This is my first finished blanket (as opposed to potholders etc and one other quilt I haven't finished yet)

This is a lovely quilt...love how you made all the reds work together. And that backing is wonderful! What a loving gift and congrats on a finished quilt...are you now addicted?

This is very pretty - I bet she'll love it. What a wonderful gift for her. The backing fabric is great!

Thanks! The reds came as a set of charms, so I can't take credit there. And yes on the addicted! I may finally go finish quilting the one I made last year, and have already started cutting another.

This is so pretty! She is going to love it! I'm drooling over the kitty fabric on the back - adorable!

Congrats! Your niece will think of you every time she snugggles up with this. Love the redness of it!
