I have known what book I wanted to use for this year's banned book project since last year's project. I typically do not procrastinate. I have however, put other projects in front of this one and time has run out, it was do or die.
Deciding what to do was my challenge. I am not an artist, I don't draw, so to capture a picture in fabric was daunting for me. After many ideas, this one came together last night as I was doing it.
Details on my process, goofs and fixes can be found on my blog post.
Let's just say, it wasn't without its challenges, but I am very glad I did it. All in one sitting!
Ok, you have me hooked . . . I'm headed over to your blog to check this out in more detail. From what I can see here, this is amazing!
Love this. Had to Google banned books as I was surprised by this and the list on Wikipedia is fascinating. Didn't realize what was on it.
Kathie Thanks Kathie. I over thought this project for weeks, deadline hit and cranked it out. Very different from what I had in my head.
