Yay,it's finally your turn to be Queen! This is going to be so much fun making this scrappy churn dash. Scrappy but not crappy!
Oh and thank you for getting this up early so we can get it done before the insanity starts!
Love this block and your color choices and ditto Terryt1955 thanks for getting it up early. Cannot wait to make for you.
This will be fun! I like your colour choices.
No bad choices here. Great pattern and nice color theme.
I LOVE churn dash blocks. I LOVE scrappy blocks. SO this will be easy peasy for me to do. Thanks, too, for posting early. LOVE IT!!!!
I love your sample blocks and you color choices! This is going to be a fun quilt!
Did you see that Angela wrote a great tutorial on her blog?
(I realize it has an extra colour, but I really like the part about the HSTs.)
It is very pretty!
These look great together!
Seeing this I will get mine finished and mailed tomorrow.
These are going to make a really nice quilt.
Mailed mine yesterday in the morning so maybe it will get there tomorrow or the next day!
Super cute! (No orange hearts--had to go with a tangerine!)
Aizome love the tangerine in there! Thanks. I'll always think of that when I enjoy my quilt.
They look great together. Those reverse pieces really add something too!
This is looking great! Love the reverse blocks in there!
These are bright and beautiful.
I really love this top...especially how have added in the few with the nonwhite background...perfect!
looks great I love it
I missed when you posted the finished top. It looks great!! I'm trying to decide what block to choose for making a red & white quilt and remembered your HIve #1 choice but hadn't seen the end result. Love!
Terryt1955 I have so many red and white quilt projects in my head (and on their own pinterest board) - this quilt doesn't completely satisfy my need for a red and white quilt, and I still have my own years accumulation of fabric put aside for it. So I'll be doing something one of these days.
Terryt1955 Forgot to add that this is now quilted and the binding stitched on the front - just waiting for a road trip or video marathon to hand stitch the binding to the back.
Readerowl Haha I hear you on that needing time set aside to handsew the binding. I tend to wait for winter so I'm not sweating underneath the quilt while sewing.
I saw a beautiful D4P last night done up in red & white. Such a simple block but man did it have great impact!
Wow, Karen - this turned out beautifully! Love it! And love what you did on the back too.
WOW I just love this finished quilt...so bright, fresh and pretty!
Ohh It looks great - I couldn't remember having made a pink and red chrun dash block - but I could easily find mine, so I must have made it. It's great to see it finished.
I haven't finished either of my Bee quilts form 2013 though I am doing the bidning on one now.
Strandkorbtraum yours is easy to spot - it will be the favorite with my grandkids when they see it in a few days! Thanks.
Just lovely! Congratulations on another wonderful completed project. You are inspirational.
What a fun, bright quilt and I really love the back!
