My Versions of the QAYG Boxy Pouch by Quilterinmotion
I loved the QAYG Boxy Pouch made by +Whatthebobbin. It came at a time when I was trying to figure out a way to thank a lady who has agreed to me our mail forwarding agent and doesn't want any money for it. She says it is "just part of my job" as office manager. I disagree. Not everyone needs to have their mail forwarded for 8-9 months!
I decided if I made one of the pouches with my own twist, I could put a gift card in it which she can use for anything OR give it away as a gift to someone else.
I ended up making two; different sizes, different uses. I looked at the tutorial Whatthebobbin had referenced and then just kind of did my own thing. I'm happy with the two pouches I made.
The gift card pouch has an offset zipper (on purpose) and is approximately 3.5"x5"x1". The iphone earphone case is approximately 3"x3.5".
I added a ring to each so they can be clipped to keys, and I added a few "bobbles" to the gift card pouch-a bead and a Scrabble tile butterfly I made.
It's so much fun to make small projects once in a while!
