Description

I did some sewing last week, and now I can post it. My little granddaughter is 3 today and Nana did some birthday presents for her, but her mom is on Threadbias.com, so I didn’t want to put up the pictures till I’d given the gifts.

I made her a big girl sized quilt! The fabric is from Moda, Sherbet Pips by Aneela Hoey. I’ve had a charm pack and jelly-roll for several years and it is a delightful print for a little girl. the pattern is called “Scrappy Trails”, and uses a charm pack and a jelly roll. I love the colors.

So cute! I love this collection and started one for my granddaughter, age 11. Thanks for posting this. Gave me inspiration to finish hers.

Her mom said that she wanted this on her bed, right next to her last night when she went to sleep.

Such a pretty quilt - she'll treasure it. I love the little message you added too

This is lovely. I sometimes forget how great a simple quilt pattern can look if you use the right fabrics.

Mouseinmypocket thank you. I agree with what you said. The fabric works well because it was a jelly roll and charm pack of the same collection.

Simple quilts are my favorite.
